Georgian President: We have exemplary relationship with Azerbaijan

“We have an exemplary relationship with Azerbaijan. Ilham Aliyev also thinks that we should be exemplary and that we have the resources to demonstrate to everyone the level of growth that our region is capable of,” the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili, told journalists in Baku.

As Kavelashvili noted, “the relationship between Georgia and Azerbaijan is exemplary in terms of economic, trade, energy, and cultural issues, and against the backdrop of the current global political situation.”

“I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to them for their kind welcome and hospitality. We have an exceptional partnership with Azerbaijan.

We discussed the region, including issues related to Armenia. We hope that over time, everyone will understand the importance of a stable, peaceful environment in our region,” Mikheil Kavelashvili added.
