As part of the visit, a face-to-face meeting was held between the Prime Ministers of Georgia and the Republic of Armenia. Following this, a session of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between the two countries took place under the leadership of Irakli Kobakhidze and Nikol Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister of Georgia expressed his gratitude to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia for hosting the Georgian delegation at a high level.

“It is very important for us to further deepen our partnership and friendship with Armenia. We had a meeting with Prime Minister Pashinyan, during which we discussed bilateral relations, ongoing regional and global developments. Cooperation and partnership in all directions are crucial for us to protect the national interests of our countries. Strengthening economic relations is also one of our key priorities.

So far, we have had very positive dynamics in trade and economic relations, as well as in the tourism sector. Maximizing the potential of existing resources is a priority for us, and every effort will be made to achieve this,” stated Irakli Kobakhidze.
