PM: U.S. new Administration’s attitude differs, giving us hope on restoration of strategic partnership

“We welcome that the U.S. new Administration’s attitude differs from the previous administration’s stance,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters.

According to the PM, this attitude provided the ground for optimism.

“If we remember 2020 and 2024, then the former administration, on the contrary, supported sabotage and boycott of state institutions. Now we see that this attitude has changed; that is significant.

All this gives us grounds for hope and optimism that we will manage to review our partnership and restore a strategic partnership from the clear page with a concrete roadmap, which we have proposed more than once,” he said.
