Georgian Interior Minister undertakes official visit to China

Geka Geladze, Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, is currently undertaking an official visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the Chinese Minister of Public Security. The minister is accompanied by a delegation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.

Geka Geladze is participating in the Global Public Security Cooperation Forum (GPSCF), held in Lianyungang City.

“The primary focus of the forum is on issues of global security, which will be discussed by leaders from 120 countries around the world.

The event is being attended by senior officials from law enforcement agencies worldwide, as well as heads of the United Nations, Interpol, and other international organisations.

Additionally, a bilateral meeting between Minister Geladze and the Chinese Minister of Public Security is scheduled as part of the visit.

The minister is in China with a delegation that includes Deputy Ministers Aleksandre Darakhvelidze and Shalva Tadumadze, along with other senior officials from the Ministry of Internal Affairs,” the MIA stated.
