The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with her Kuwaiti counterpart, Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
The ministers discussed the broad scope of bilateral cooperation, including the exchange of high-level visits. They also addressed opportunities in trade, investment, and tourism, highlighting the initiative to establish a joint economic commission. Emphasis was placed on successful collaboration with Kuwaiti investment funds and the potential for deeper trade ties.
Education and cultural cooperation were also reviewed. The ministers welcomed the growing number of Kuwaiti visitors to Georgia, supported by regular direct flights, and underlined the importance of strengthening people-to-people connections.
