Georgian contender film for Oscars to be announced on July 31

Georgian contender film for Oscar’s International Film nomination will be announced at the National Archives Cinema Hall on July 31, at 15:00.

This year, the following films have been selected for gaining the status of Georgian contender film for Oscar’s:

“Parade” – directed by Nino Zhvania

“Before Father Gets Back ” – documentary directed by Mari Gulbiani

” Inhale-Exhal” – directed by Dimitri Tsintsadze

“Neighbors” – directed by Gigi Abashidze

“Shindisi” – directed by Dimitri Tsintsadze

The contender film will be selected by a special commission through secret balloting.
