One part of the so-called Hopa Market was burnt in a fire in Batumi city of Adjara region of Georgia.

Fire-fighting brigades worked at the disaster scene. The fire is contained and there is no threat of the fire expansion.

Zviad Melikadze, Director of the Market said that the cause of the fire is not determined yet. Traders managed to remove some goods. The amount of the inflicted damage is not calculated.
