Festival dedicated to Opera Studio jubilee

A festival dedicated to the 65th jubilee of opera Studio was opened at Tbilisi State Conservatoire. World known and Georgian opera singers took part in the gala concert.

Former pupils of the studio performed together with conservatoire students. Opera Studio will present Donizetti’s The Elixir of Love on November 6. Giuseppe Verdi’s La Traviata will be on stage on November 12.

The Opera Studio presented Abesalom and Eteri, opera by Zakaria Paliashvili first in 1952.
