Emergency Service boosts fleet with 31 new fire trucks

The Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has updated its fleet with 31 new Iveco Magirus fire trucks that meet modern European standards, according to a statement from the Ministry.

The head of the Emergency Situations Management Service, Temur Mghebrishvili, inspected the new vehicles and reviewed their technical and operational features.

“These fire trucks are specially designed for Georgia and are equipped to handle both forest and urban fires. The all-terrain vehicles will be distributed across various regions of the country. The Emergency Situations Management Service continues its active efforts to modernize its fire and rescue fleet,” the Ministry noted.
