Body of missing mountaineer found

The Emergency Situations Management Service found the body of Archil Badriashvili, a mountaineer who went missing on the peak of Shkhelda in Svaneti.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the body was discovered on a rocky slope at an altitude of approximately 3,800 meters.

Firefighters and rescuers from the Special Situations Response Division, along with a helicopter from the Border Police, were involved in the search and rescue operation. The body has been transferred, and the necessary procedures are currently being carried out.
