EIB to allocate additional financial resource to Georgia

The European Investment Bank (EIB) will allocate additional financial resource to Georgia in the amount of 250 million Euro.

Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze and EIB Vice President Vazil Hudák talked about successful cooperation related issues during the meeting held at the Georgian Presidential Administration.

Discussions were focused around modernization of transport and municipal infrastructure, energy security, assistance of small and medium-size businesses and financing of innovative projects.

The volume of investment projects financed in the public sector by EIB is about 1,33 billion Euro. The EIB allocated financial resources to the private sector in the amount of 215,8 million Euro.
