Deputy Health Minister - Number of clinics that can examine patients with rapid COVID-19 tests will increase

“We believe that within a couple of weeks the number of clinics that can detect coronavirus with the rapid tests will increase,” Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia said.

Gabunia noted that patients with fever and other coronavirus symptoms will be able to undergo rapid testing.

“Clinical symptoms are important so that we have a rational approach to the use of tests. Testing people without symptoms is not envisaged,” Gabunia stressed.
