Culture Committee Chair meets Armenian Ambassador

The Culture Committee Chair, Giorgi Gabunia, met with the Ambassador of Armenia, Ashot Smbatyan.

During the meeting, they discussed the centuries-old relationship between Armenia and Georgia, focusing on recent cultural events held in both countries.

“Armenia and Georgia share a long-standing friendship and strong cultural ties. We emphasized the importance of these connections and the need to further deepen and strengthen them,” said Giorgi Gabunia.

The Chair also expressed his readiness to participate in the Days of Georgian Culture, scheduled in Yerevan in June. As part of the visit to Armenia, the parties will also explore plans for future joint cultural initiatives.
