President Kavelashvili receives Armenian ambassador

President Mikheil Kavelashvili met with Ashot Smbatyan, the Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia.

At this inaugural meeting, the ambassador congratulated Mikheil Kavelashvili on his recent appointment as President and conveyed his best wishes for success in his future endeavours, the Presidential Administration reported.

“During the meeting, discussions centred on the historically amicable relations between Georgia and Armenia and the potential for deepening their partnership. The President and the Ambassador addressed current political developments in both nations and underscored the critical importance of maintaining peace and stability within the region,” the Presidential Administration stated.
