Changes into 2019 state budget to be discussed in parliament

Changes to be made into the 2019 state budget will be discussed during the plenary sitting of the parliament today.

Based on the proposed changes, the budget of the Georgian Presidential Administration will be increased by 2.2 million GEL up to 8.2 million GEL. The expenditure of several ministries will increase.

The opposition is not planned to back making corrections in the budget. MPs of the parliamentary opposition believe that the proposed changes further increase the risk of devaluation of the national currency.

Lawmakers of the ruling team claim that the changes will not bring any harm to the country.
