Amiran Gamkrelidze, Head of the National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health said that two Georgian citizens who arrived from China were not confirmed to have any type of virus.

Gamkrelidze said during a press conference that the 2 Georgian citizens were subject to medical examinations and that their health condition was satisfactory.

“One of the Georgian citizens, who arrived from China, applied to the hospital and the other was taken to the Hospital of Infectious Diseases from the airport because of high body temperature. The tests were taken and sent to Richard Lugar Center for Public Health Research. The tests proved negative against all kinds of virus,” Gamkrelidze said.
