The number of COVID-19 cases in Georgia reaches 44

Georgia has confirmed one new case of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected individuals to 44, Adjara AR Health Minister, Zaal Mikeladze announced today.

The Minister noted that this patient has travelled abroad. After returning home, he was under control.

Two patients with COVID-19 are hospitalised in Batumi.

According to the latest data, 1925 remain under quarantine, while 271 under hospital supervision. Only one patient recovered from the virus.
