Emergency Coordination Center releases statement on Batumi traffic accident

The Emergency Coordination and Emergency Assistance Center has released a statement regarding a traffic accident in Batumi.

According to the statement, an ambulance vehicle belonging to the Center’s emergency response team collided with two pedestrians.

“The individuals injured in the traffic accident were immediately transported to an appropriate medical facility, where they are receiving all necessary medical assistance.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has launched an investigation into the incident, which will determine whether the driver was at fault in the accident.

If any criminal offense is identified, all relevant legal measures will be taken against the responsible person in accordance with the law,” the statement said.
