Tbilisi Mayor presented green-color municipal buses

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze presented MAN-type 10-meter-long municipal buses at First Republic Square in Tbilisi.

Kaladze drove the bus himself. Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze attended the presentation. The 90 new buses of Euro 6 emission standard were added to the Auto Park. They are working on diesel fuel. The new buses will be moving on 10 routes. The new buses will accommodate up to 82 passengers out of them 27 are seat places.

The 220 new, 8-meter-long buses will be moving about Tbilisi by the end of the year. Isuzu Company won in the tender announced in November of 2018. The new buses will gradually replace yellow municipal buses.

The buses will be equipped with WiFi internet, USB chargers and heating and conditioning systems. They will transport up to 53 passengers and will be adapted for persons with limited physical capabilities.
