City Hall launches new stage of Learn and Get Employed program

Tbilisi City Hall launched a new stage of the Learn and Get Employed program, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze announced at the municipal meeting.

Kakha Kaladze clarified that those interested in improving skills and raising qualifications to get employed will undergo special courses free of charge. Those who want to study online will be allocated free spaces in multi-functional, newly rehabilitated libraries.

“Getting a job is a challenge in the country. Many people are looking for jobs, while the business sector is looking for qualified personnel,” Kaladze said.

From April 10, interested individuals can register at www.dasakmdi.ge. Tbilisi Mayor went on to say that 15 new specialities were added to the program this year.

“This means citizens will undergo training in 65 specialities. The municipality will finance the courses. Up to 1,000 citizens will undergo training within the current program. In recent years, more than 9,000 citizens have been trained, and the employment rate after graduation is approximately 70%,” Kaladze said.
