Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze says that some people are trying to use Didi Dighomi tragedy for political speculation.

Kakha Kaladze talked about the explosion in Didi Dighomi at a special briefing today and noted that certain groups are trying to mislead the society and disseminate false information.

“Sadly, some groups are trying to discredit the City Hall and personally me, they are trying to link me to the explosion due to their incompetence or political motivation. They are providing false information to the society and try to manipulate this tragedy”, – Kakha Kaladze said.

He said that the mayor will not allow these people to mislead the population and will do everything for the society to know the truth.
