Gov't, business sector meet over upcoming relaxation of Covid-19 restrictions
Representatives of the shopping malls and retail centers attend a meeting with the governmental economic team and epidemiologists on January 27.
The meeting aims to reach a joint plan to reopen business from February 1.
The business sector voiced several requirements before the meeting, including public transport resumption, weekend work permits, and rescheduling the movement restrictions for an hour later, from 10 pm instead of 9 pm.
The business representatives added the retailers have already proved they could safely serve customers amid pandemic.
The Georgian government decided to reopen shopping malls and retail stores from February 1.
