Giorgi Gakharia met with Qatari Transport and Communications Minister

Today Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia held a meeting with Qatari Transport and Communications Minister Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti.

The meeting at the Administration of the Government discussed the economic, transport, and communications relations between the two countries.

The meeting singled out the dynamic development of bilateral Georgian-Qatari relations, with still greater untapped potential that must be utilized in the future.

Special emphasis was placed on the importance of direct flights between the two countries in terms of developing economic relations and deepening people-to-people contacts.

According to the Qatari Transport and Communications Minister, Qatar is interested in Georgia’s investment opportunities and views the Georgian Government was a solid, strong partner to consider concrete joint projects to be implemented in the future.
