Georgia reported 1 337 coronavirus cases, 49 deaths, and 3 498 recoveries on Monday, the official figures show.
Georgian capital Tbilisi reported the highest number of 571 Covid-19 cases within the last 24 hours, followed by the Adjara region with 212 cases and the Imereti region with 147 cases.
Georgia’s total case tally now stands at 191 063, among them 161 681 people recovered and 1 839 died.
There are 986 people placed in government-assigned quarantine facilities, 6 912 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized, 2 886 asymptomatic and mild symptom patients are being treated at government-assigned treatment facilities.
Currently, there are 1 087 critical patients, among them, 465 require mechanical ventilation.
