Former Chief Prosecutor presented charges

Otar Partskhaladze, former Chief Prosecutor of Georgia, was presented charges for physically assaulting Lasha Tordia, former Head of State Audit Service. However, as Gagi Mosiashvili, Lawyer told First Channel, Patrskhaladze does not plead guilty.

The physical clash took place on May 12, 2017, at El-Centro Night Club at Shardin Street in Tbilisi. Lawyer says that there is no ground for presenting indictment to his defendant since the incident was a provocation.

Mosiashvili also believes that the basis for the presentation of charges became the standpoint of oppositionally inclined part of the society rather than legal or process assessment.
