Condoleezza Rice: Georgia and Ukraine should become NATO members

Georgia and Ukraine should become NATO members, said Condoleezza Rice, former United States Secretary of State, at the Kyiv Security Forum.

“Everything remains in force for those who took part in the Bucharest summit. NATO, as the main collective security organization of democracies, should take Georgia and Ukraine into its ranks and support the action plan for Georgia and Ukraine,” said Condoleezza Rice.

According to the Ukrainian media, the ninth annual youth meeting takes place on the eve of the NATO summit in Brussels, scheduled for June 14, and will be dedicated to the integration of Ukraine and the countries of the region into NATO.

The large-scale meeting will bring together well-known Ukrainian and foreign politicians, diplomats, experts, as well as more than four dozen young professionals from all regions of our country and young colleagues from Georgia. Dozens of more participants will engage online throughout all panel discussions and will have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers.
