“We will work hard in coming days in order to assist and to take the role of mediation to move this process onward. The starting point for me is to listen,” said Christian Danielsson, a special envoy of the EUCO President Charles Michel.
Christian Danielsson will meet with representatives of political parties and civil society. He said he would start from the main point, listening. “We will then see how we can contribute to the process to move forward,” Danielsson claimed.
The special envoy of the President of the European Council arrived in Georgia on Friday, with 3-day visit. The purpose of Christian Danielsson’s visit is to mediate the political dialogue between the ruling Georgian Dream party and opposition initiated by EUCO President Charles Michel on March 1.
