FM meets Swedish State Secretary

Ilia Darchiashvili, Georgian Foreign Minister met Christian Danielsson, State Secretary to Minister for EU Affairs within the framework of his visit to Sweden.

The sides discussed the process of Georgia’s EU integration, including the fulfilment of 12-point priorities.

State Secretary reconfirmed the support of Sweden for Georgia’s EU aspirations and pledged the readiness to work with the Georgian government in carrying out the necessary reforms.

The sides reviewed the regional situation, facing challenges, and Georgia’s role in EU energy security and diversification of transit routes.
