Aslan Bzhania, Leader of the occupied Abkhazia region of Georgia will participate in the so-called elections of Abkhazia.

Bzhania said that the situation required unification in a team that he would lead.

So-called presidential elections in occupied Abkhazia are scheduled for March 22. Former de-facto President of Abkhazia Raul Khajimba quit post amid the ongoing protest rallies. The opposition demanded his resignation.

The Cassation Collegiums of Judges declared results of the September 8, 2019, presidential elections as null and void.
