Another 99 cases of coronavirus confirmed on board the Diamond Princess, Japanese media reports.

Out of 1,723 passengers on board, 454 have been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Since February 3 the Diamond Princess was put under quarantine.

The number of deaths from the novel coronavirus has reached 1,770 worldwide, with an additional 100 deaths recorded in Hubei on Sunday.

More than 71,200 people are infected. The majority of death cases recorded in mainland China.
