People aged 65 and over and medical personnel can register for Pfizer vaccination today starting from 6 pm. Deputy Minister of Health Tamar Gabunia notes additional 3,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine would become available today.
“The active vaccination process is underway. People aged 65 and above and medical personnel will have the opportunity to choose and book AstraZeneca or Pfizer vaccine shots today, starting from 6 pm. Additional 3,000 Pfizer jabs will become available,” Deputy Minister stated.
Gabunia noted that the Immunization Council would allow Georgian citizens aged 55 and above to the COVID-19 jab from April 5.
Deputy Minister underlined that the increase in new cases and the current prevalence of infection are noteworthy.
