The waiting interval for public transport has been reduced to 4 minutes in Tbilisi, said Vice-Mayor Irakli Khmaladze during the presentation of the report on transport policy carried out projects.

According to Khmaladze, Tbilisi City Hall introduced a new transport network that allows speedy en-route movement of 18, 12, 10, 8 and 6 meter-long buses. “The capacity and throughput of buses will increase 2.5 times,” Irakli Khmaladze said.
