Tbilisi Vice Mayor meets with traders affected by fire

Tbilisi Vice Mayor Irakli Khmaladze on Thursday met with traders affected by the fire.

According to Tbilisi City Hall, the meeting discussed the consequences of yesterday’s fire at a market near the station square, as well as the victims’ difficulties.

The parties agreed that the victims would provide City Hall with precise information regarding the burnt area and the extent of damage.

“Many of us were affected. The devastation is extensive. We are quite pleased with our encounter with Irakli Khmaladze. We have big hopes. I believe the discussion will yield some outcomes,” said Mzia Buchuadze, manager of the Bakani market, following the meeting.
