Ukrainian President's move to sanction Georgian Airways 'unfair,' Chairman says

Georgian Airways chairman Tamaz Gaiashvili on Sunday echoed Ukrainian Presidend’s move to sanction 190 individuals and 290 legal entities, including Georgian Airways and its chairman.

Gaiashvili deemed the decision “absurd” and “unfair,” saying “I hope that this unjust and baseless decision will be followed by an immediate response of the Georgian Government.”

He also said that “the opposition-minded groups in Georgia do everything to overthrow the government and take the power. On the way to their unhealthy goal, they even manage to mislead the Ukrainian President.”
