Ukrainian Embassy in Athens attacked

On the night of January 20, unknown individuals attacked the Embassy of Ukraine in Athens, Greece, as Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin wrote on Twitter.

The perpetrators threw Molotov cocktails at the building of the Embassy. No casualties occurred. Greek authorities promised to cooperate on the issue and there will be round-the-clock security of the building. Ukrainian Embassies in other countries will intensify the security measures as well.

According to the information from some media, three cars near the embassy were also set on fire. Pavlo Klimkin made an assumption that the attack was attempted by pro-Russian radicals.
