“The process of resetting relations with America has begun, with a good dynamic of exchange visits, and the outlook is already quite promising,” stated MP Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Parliament.

Nikoloz Samkharadze states that he has quite positive expectations, especially in light of the recent visit, involving representatives from the State Department.

“We had an interesting discussion on many issues, and the statements they made give me reason to believe that relations between us will not only be reset, but will move to new heights. Naturally, this requires a collaborative effort from both our side and the United States, but the main thing is that the process is underway, and I have high hopes that our relationship will reach new heights.

By “new heights,” I am referring to the signing of a new strategic partnership agreement between Georgia and America, with the primary aim of deriving mutual benefit from this collaboration. Both America and Georgia must benefit from this relationship. We discussed this topic, and it is encouraging that there is already preliminary agreement around the idea that the strategic partnership must be mutually beneficial,” Nikoloz Samkharadze stated.
