Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, together with a delegation, has departed for Greece to participate in the Energy Summit.
This major event, which attracts over 270 delegates from South-Eastern Europe and the Eastern Mediterranean region, is attended by senior representatives from government and the private sector. Among the participants are Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jassem Mohammed Al-Budai, European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tsitsikostas, as well as ministers, heads of executive authorities, financial institutions, and major investment firms from various countries.
Mariam Kvrivishvili will deliver a presentation on key priorities within Georgia’s energy sector at the Energy Ministers’ Panel titled “Delivering 2030 – Leadership commitments for the energy transition.” She will also engage in discussions and respond to questions from other panellists.
During her visit to Athens, the Minister is scheduled to meet with Greece’s Minister of Energy and Environment, Stavros Papastavrou. According to the Ministry of Economy, the Georgian delegation, led by Mariam Kvrivishvili, includes Deputy Ministers Inga Pkhaladze and Tamar Ioseliani.
