Tourists to be gifted with wine at Georgian Airports

Georgian National Tourism Administration launches a new campaign – the Border Guard officers will meet the international visitors arriving in Georgia with wine at the Airports.

The National Tourism Administration will purchase 300,000 bottles of branded wine for the campaign.  The corresponding electronic tender has ended today. The estimated cost of the procurement amounts to one million GEL. The candidate has been already revealed, the documentation is being checked now.

The gift wine should be red, dry, produced of 100% Saperavi grape sorts.

The tourists will be welcomed with wine at Tbilisi, Kutaisi and Batumi international airports.

The new marketing campaign aims at promoting Georgia and Georgian wine, which would serve to attract tourists.
