Three Georgian citizens transferred from Lagodekhi checkpoint to Tbilisi to be quarantined
Three Georgian citizens, who visited Iran and arrived in Georgia, have been transferred from Lagodekhi checkpoint to Tbilisi to be quarantined. All the three persons are drivers of trucks.
Maka Khmaladze, Head of Lagodekhi Public Health Service told Georgian First Channel that the three drivers crossed the Georgian border by trucks on February 22.
“The drivers have no symptoms characterized to the novel coronavirus but they will be taken to the quarantine zone to undergo examinations and their transport means will be subjected to disinfecting,” Khmaladze said.
One Georgian citizen was placed at an isolated block of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases transferred from Lagodekhi checkpoint on February 28.
