So-called fever centers activated in Kakheti

The so-called fever centers have been activated in eastern Kakheti region. Two centers are functioning in Telavi, 1 – in Sagarejo and 1 – Lagodekhi.

According to Neli Khizanishvii, Head of Kakheti Department of National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health, representatives of Georgian office of the World Health Organization have already visited the centers. They met with medical personnel and conducted training.

There are no confirmed cases of novel coronavirus in Kakheti. The 604 people are placed in 10 quarantine spaces, 52 – in self-isolation.
