Second part of EU Accession Questionnaire being filled in, EU Integration Committee Chair says

Georgia has already filled the first part of the EU Accession Questionnaire. All the necessary agencies, including the Parliament, have been involved in this process, EU Integration Committee Chair Maka Bochorishvili said.

MP Bochorishvili said that the country had already conveyed the first part of the questionnaire to the EU. She has positive expectations.

“We will hand over both parts to the EU side within a month. We work in a tight time frame.

The European Commission will prepare an assessment, and the EU member states will already make a political decision on granting candidate status. It is the most vital process, in which political decision that the member states will make is crucial,” Maka Bochorishvili said.
