The government Friday will promulgate the second part of the EU Accession Questionnaire required by the European Commission to grant the EU candidate status to Georgia.

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said the sectoral part of the document comprises approximately 2 300 questions, and the government should fill it in by May 13.

Georgia will submit the filled-in opinion part of the EU Accession Questionnaire to the European Commission on May 2.

Oliver Varhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, handed over the EU membership questionnaire to the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili in Luxembourg on April 11.
