Pupils at schools will not be required to wear a face covering, announced the Georgian Ministry of Education.
However, according to the recommendations issued by the Ministry today, schools have an obligation to reserve face masks.
Wearing a face mask will be mandatory only in the school’s common areas, also during breaks.
While entering the school building, a person should use hand sanitizer, pass thermal screening and disinfection barrier.
A temporary isolation room will be provided for pupils with fever and respiratory symptoms.
After each break between lessons, the bathrooms will be sanitized and the rooms ventilated.
The school year in Georgia will be resumed on September 15.
