The President-elect of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili and Mike Pompeo, United States Secretary of State held a phone conversation.

As Zurabishvili’s headquarters told the First Channel, the Secretary of State congratulated Salome Zurabishvili on her election as President of Georgia, wished her success and expressed hope that the newly elected president will visit the U.S. in the nearest future.

Mike Pompeo reiterated strong support to Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.
