Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili has held a meeting with the President of Israel Reuven Rivlin.

“An honor to be hosted by President Reuven Rivlin in Jerusalem. Security, trade, investment, technology, culture were all on our agenda on how to deepen our already close and historical ties”, – the statement released on Twitter reads.
Later, the President of Georgia made a note in the guest book at the Israeli Presidental residence.
“The relations between Georgia and Israel are not only deep and close, they are historical. 26 centuries have shaped the bonds between the Jewish and Georgian peoples”, – reads the information.
