Ross Wilson, acting US Ambassador to Georgia states that the talks about the visit of Georgia’s President Salome Zurabishvili to U.S. are underway, however, the decision is not yet taken.

According to Ross Wilson, there is a very strong relationship between Georgia and the United States.

“President Zurabishvili voiced initiative in connection with her visit to the United States. Talks are taking place in that regard; however, no concrete decision or plan has been yet taken. We attach great importance to relations between our countries and welcome high-level meetings where leaders meet with each other when the opportunity arises. I would like to emphasize that there is a very strong relationship between our countries. We have contacted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as I know, nothing is specifically scheduled yet”,  – Ambassador Ross Wilson said.
