Radical opposition plays no positive role on EU integration path, GD Chair says

Radical opposition cannot play any positive role on the European integration path but can refrain from creating artificial obstacles to let us do the job, said Chairman of the ruling Georgian Dream party (GD) Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to Kobakhidze, everyone must take responsibility for this crucial historical process and stop impeding the country’s EU integration.

“They openly state that Georgia cannot become a member of the European Union under the current government, we do not deserve it, etc. It is an attempt to create artificial obstacles, which is irresponsible. They cannot play any positive role on the European integration path but can refrain from creating artificial obstacles to let us do the job,” Kobakhidze said.
