Protesters demand management changes and airtime at Public Broadcaster
Yet another rally was held at the Georgia Public Broadcaster’s building.
The protesters’ demands remained unchanged – the resignation of the GPB Board and management, and allocation of airtime during the day’s broadcast, similar to the evening timeslot.
The demonstrators also demanded the government’s resignation. A new demand was also voiced. The rally participants are demanding the preservation of the building at 68 Kostava Street. According to them, the television building is a historic and strategic location that should remain at its historical address, although the territory is already private property.
As a reminder, for several weeks now, the GPB First Channel has been broadcasting in a special mode, dedicating prime time to citizens with different positions, protest participants, and politicians.
