Protest rally in Tbilisi

A new protest rally is scheduled for Rustaveli Avenue in approximately two hours under the slogan “Georgia, Stand Up!”

Organizers are calling participants to gather near the Parliament building, stating that “government repressions now affect everyone, so silence now means submission.”

President Salome Zourabichvili is expected to join the rally and address the crowd, with other politicians and civil activists also likely to make statements.
