President of Georgia – Georgia highly appreciates partnership relations with France

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili visited the French national military patrolling ship Commander Biro which is visiting Batumi port within the framework of French-Georgian cooperation in the military sphere.

President toured about the ship and addresses the guests invited to the solemn reception. Zurabishvili said that the visit of the French ship indicated that the security of the Black Sea region was important for partners.

She also talked about tight relations between Georgia and France and underlined that Georgia highly appreciated partnership relations with France. “The cooperation between French and Georgian Defense Ministries is faultless and we hope that it will further strengthen in all directions,” President said.

Joint training in the open air will be conducted with the participation of French sailors and members of coastline guards.
